Starting point

our vineyard in the Grand Cru village of Verzenay. Here is the location of our Domaine. Here is the birthplace of our House, founded on a renowned Terroir for its Pinot Noir grapes.

We now grow around 12 hectares of vines, with 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay.

We make a priority of working our vines from start to finish, as a family and with our dedicated staff.

Experiment and evolve

This independence allows us to research, dig deeper and adapt our techniques according to the land. We take the liberty of experimenting, always with a view to capturing the essence of our Terroir.

Applications: seeking out the right plot by third-party experiments, grass cover, leaf removal techniques, tillage...

Sometimes these tests are successful, other times less so, and occasionally not at all. We monitor this learning process and never hesitate to compare our ideas and results. These positive or negative elements provide us with answers to the equations we set out to solve. The key is the path we take to reach our decisions.

Our commitment
to our land

One of the first wineries to obtain both VDC and HVE certifications (in 2016), this milestone was an important recognition of our work in the vineyard and the care we give to the land and plants. This notion of respect for the environment is essential. By sharing our ideas, we were able to identify techniques used by our peers : ploughing, grass cover, soil conservation, old-style trellising...

Thanks to all the methods employed, we are able to bring a wide range of diversity to our vineyards. We must always do a little more, in order to keep moving forward and expressing our Terroir to the full.

About our vineyard ? We know it inside out. You'll always find one of us working the vines, watching over them, making sure the fruit of our labor is on the right track. Our passion for the Terroir is particularly strong just before the harvest. We sharpen our sense of observation in order to trigger the harvest at the right moment, plot by plot.
